Artist residency and lecture at Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, CT

I am honored and super excited to have been awarded the Helen Frankenthaler Printmaking Residency at CCP. I had an incredible experience there and will be adding images to my website soon. With the help of Master Printmaker Chris Shore I expanded my Conflict Zone series of monoprints to include the war in Ukraine and the Israel/Gaza conflict. In addition, I am developing a series on the 3 branches of government using images of chandeliers that I took while touring each location in DC. During the residency I began introducing chandeliers from the White House and the Capital with images from the devastation in Ukraine and Gaza. You can see some Instagram nancywillisart posts about my time there but here also is the link to my 40 minute artist talk on August 9th. ARt and Empathy Artist Talk/CCP
